Asian dominance @Sime LPGA 2011 Na Yeon
She is beautiful, extremely presentable like all other ladies making this event more like a fashion parade. Yes they were floating butterflies guiding the ball far and near. A real display of brawn, brain and beauty. The crowd enjoyed the show to the fullest. Golfing skills were equally commendable. Soft outward looks, hard-will in the inside. Winning with a score of 15-under for four rounds of golf in scorching sun tells the long story in short.
Na Yeon showed everyone Asian culture at its best; the attire, the manners in and out of the course, good or bad shots she kept her grace intact. Never showed it was ball nor the club that’s caused the bad shot when it occurred. Never a single moment of unpleasant antics. She hit effortless dead straight shots. The approach shots were precise as a robot. Her tiny size was never a handicap as she achieved similar distance with long drives. Having accepted the generous prize money with typical bow in Asian style, she then finished the event with a speech in English that was fluid as her effortless accurate strokes. She thanked everyone, the big and the small, the parents and the teachers, who contributed to the event and to her success. What a product from Korea. No one was interested in talking about the Prize US $ 285,000 this tiny cultured lady carried. It was a well deserved earning.
Lady Golfers in Fashion Parade
Glamorous ladies waiting for the chief guest
Fashion parade at Sime LPGA in KLGCC Malaysia. They are not only hard skillful players inside, but soft feminine looks outside good enough to walk in the cat walk, very attractive nice and presentable, a far cry from the years gone by. Now fans flock in droves to see these colorful ladies in action in the back drop of picturesque KLGCC fairways. A carnival indeed judging by the 'hoos' and 'haaas' from fans when the ladies were in action on the putting greens. The Asian onslaught came after the path that was made by Seri Pak and Grace Park decades ago. Sime Darby LPGA is hosting nine of the ten best players in the world. Take a look at the colors on the second day at KLGCC. They inspire the golfing fraternity.
